Making a tangible difference where it matters most
Since its establishment in 2017, the John Cockerill Foundation has supported initiatives addressing essential needs, including access to water, education, healthcare, social inclusion, and improved living conditions.
In Morocco, the Foundation supports projects aimed at improving access to clean drinking water and sanitation facilities in rural communities affected by drought.
In France, its partnership with the CGénial Foundation helps introduce young people to science, technology, and careers in industry, with the active involvement of John Cockerill employees.
In Brazil, the Foundation supports initiatives focused on improving housing conditions and access to education. In Belgium, it also supports projects that foster inclusion, solidarity, and stronger community connections.
Behind each of these projects are dedicated local organizations, committed partners, and communities working toward sustainable solutions to their everyday challenges.
Ten years of impact, and looking ahead
As this anniversary approaches, the Foundation wants to go beyond simply looking back.
What changes have the projects we support helped bring about? What lasting impact have they had? How can we strengthen our efforts and better respond to the needs of communities in the years ahead?
To help answer these questions, the Foundation has launched an evaluation process involving employees, partner organizations, and other stakeholders.
