In December 2022, the John Cockerill Foundation signed a partnership agreement with Ruti Group for the development of a project in Rwanda. This agreement aims on the one hand to finance part of the construction of the multi-purpose hall, the future refectory for the students of the Ecole du Bon Berger, and on the other hand, to make it as self-sufficient as possible in terms of electrical energy thanks to a sustainable and clean system, such as photovoltaic panels.
